Arsalan Khan joined the Group in 2020 and currently serves in Business Development & Procurement Operations at QuantLase Research & Development Center. He played a key role in the nationwide operational deployment of the Diffractive Phase Interferometry (DPI) device for COVID-19 screening across the UAE, ensuring effective coordination and execution during a critical period.
In his business development role, Arsalan cultivates strategic partnerships with research institutes, clinical organizations, industry stakeholders, and government entities to translate advanced research into practical applications and expanded commercial opportunities. He supports regulatory compliance efforts, contributing to the attainment and maintenance of certifications such as ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, reinforcing quality standards and operational excellence.
As part of his procurement responsibilities, he manages vendor evaluation, contract negotiations, sourcing of specialized scientific equipment, and supply chain coordination to support complex research activities. His oversight ensures cost efficiency, timely acquisition of high-precision instruments, and alignment between technical specifications and procurement strategy.
Arsalan also contributes to marketing and external engagement initiatives, representing the organization at industry conferences and forums across quantum technology and emerging sectors. In addition, he supports strategic planning, market assessment, and cross-functional coordination across operations, administration, finance, HR, and management to maintain organizational efficiency and enable sustainable growth.
